Discussion Questions (Krista Muska):
  1. How would you compare the relationship of you and your siblings to the relationship of the three siblings we follow in the book? Would you say that you were similar to them in not really prying or would you say you were different in caring about where the other was and what they were up to?
  2. What sister do you compare yourself with? Bean, the outgoing, flirtatious partier? Roes, the controlling one? Or Cordy, the one who doesn't fit into any one mold and travels a lot, afraid of staying put? Why would you chose to be like her? The question still applies to you, John.
  3. When reading the book, did you find any one relatable point to your life?
  4. What character would you like to see more of? Which one would you like to see less of? In other terms, who is your favorite, and who is your least favorite?
  5. Do you think that Cordy will embrace her pregnancy and grow up to be a mom, doing the thing she fears most, commitment? Or do you think that she will put the child up for adoption? Do you think she will find love in the barista man even though she is pregnant with some strangers baby?

1a. We all have a good relationship with our siblings. We would not really pry into their personal lives, because we aren't the nosey types of people, but we are concerned for our siblings, and we only want to help them and make them happy.

2a. Krista is similar to Rose, Birte is similar to Cordy, John is similar to Bean, an Elisa is also similar to Bean.

3a We all agreed that we did not find any one relatable point in our lives.

4a. We would have liked to see more of Cordy in the book because many of us can relate to her personality and we would really like to see how she deals with her pregnancy. We would like to see less of Rose and also that Bean would get over her age insecurity.

5a. We all feel that she will keep her baby, and not put it up for adoption. We think that once she has the child, she will see how much she can love someone, and then also find love with the Berista man. I think the Berista man will want to become a father figure, if him and Cordy fall in love. He will be okay with the fact that the baby is not his child.
